Key Products for your Soil Health

Improve the performance of your soil

Soil Enhancer is an easy to use formulation that contains humus, the most active component of soil organic matter, seaweed extracts, amino acids and vitamins.

  • Improves soil structure
  • Feeds soil microbes (primarily fungi)
  • Improves fertiliser retention & water efficiency
  • Buffers salinity
  • Improves drought tolerance

Organic matter plays a key role in many soil processes. Its decomposition by fungi and bacteria is a highly important process that helps improve soil structure, release, unlock and recycle nutrients and protect roots from pathogens. Humus, the most active component of soil organic matter, is an efficient way to get the benefits of soil organic matter without significantly changing production methods.

Investing in Soil Improvement

Trials and research have shown the humus in Soil Enhancer is a practical way to improve soils, through controlling N loss and putting carbon into the soil. Typically, fertiliser efficiency is improved by 20% depending on soil type. (adapted from Kasim 2011, Celik 2011, Dong 2009, Taufik 2011)

The kelp component in Soil Enhancer stimulates root growth and reduces crop stress, to get more from your soil. (adapted from Khan, 2009)

Activate soil microbes

Soil Activator is an easy to use formulation that contains multiple microbe food sources to feed beneficial microbes to boost numbers and activity - amino acids, vitamins, seaweed extracts, humus, fish & molasses.

  • Improves nutrient availability
  • Feeds soil microbes; favouring bacteria
  • Suppresses disease
  • Contains active carbon
  • Stimulates plant root growth

Soil microbes play an important part in nutrient availability and suppressing disease. They regulate many soil processes including the carbon cycle and recycling nutrients (including locked up P and Ca).

Note – Microbial food contained in Soil Activator is designed to promote beneficial bacteria, the main nutrient recyclers of the soil; not plant pathogens that feed off living plants.

Investing in Microbial Activity

Scientific trials and soil surveys show that active soil microbes are a key component to healthy soils and important to ensure your soil performs. These beneficial fungi and bacteria improve nutrient availability and protect the crop from disease.

(Janvier 2007; Ratnadass 2012) We also know that as beneficial microbial populations decline, disease increases. (Geense et al 2015; Crecchio 2004; Abawi 2000)

The components in Soil Activator have been proven to activate soil microbes by feeding them, favouring bacteria to fungi; to make a difference to your soil and crop.
